The music fleeing the speakers is familiar. Beyond familiar, it's recognizable, and he recognizes it because it's his own damn song! His music, playing in a bloody nightclub. He's not hallucinating, he's not that drunk, this is real. Real and downright offensive, because this is the last place anyone should hear his style. His shit's above being played at a place like this alongside the rest of the club trash. He's still got some pride left, damn it all, and he won't let this mockery stand.
Piers snarls, ready to shove away from the bar, but the beat changes, and the recognizable fades back to merely familiar. The riff of guitar is split through with a surge of foreign synths. The tempo picks up and drums that aren't his own define an energy he never intended.
This isn't only his song. It's a remix. Someone's made a remix of his music.

So who better to call than Piers, he wouldn't judge him. What he would do though was make sure Raihan was really ready for whatever Leon was going to be throwing at him.
What both of them seemed to forget was that being horny during gym season wasn't the best of ideas.

Like he’s his mess, as much a part of Piers’ life as the dirty clothes strewn around his bedroom and the grimy venues he plays. Raihan has spent hours trying to take the perfect selfie, making sure the light hits just right and his face doesn’t look puffy and his body looks just the right amount of muscular-but-toned to net him the maximum number of likes.
An entire Instagram account’s worth of picture perfect images, and yet Piers likes him best when he’s like this.
