If Lyney wakes up, he’s going to go into a panic.
Admittedly, just the thought of that makes her feel a little guilty. He’s already worrying over her so much. What good sister gets up and wanders off without letting her brother know?

(Tooru was, in fact, Hajime's gay awakening, but he didn't need to tell him that. Not now, not ever.) The tension in the room was broken as Takahiro and Issei burst into hyena-like laughter.

Summary
When Hero inexplicably locks himself in his room, Kel, Sunny, and Basil turn to Aubrey for help insisting that she is "the best at this kind of thing." She doesn't have the slightest idea when or how she earned that reputation, but Hero has always been there for her and for all of them really, so she knows she will do her best to be there for him too. Step one is, of course, getting him out of the house and away from everyone else so he isn't tempted to help with their problems rather than take care of himself, but that's easier said than done... Getting him to actually open up to her about whatever it is that's troubling him will likely be even harder, but along the way, Aubrey might discover they actually have a lot more in common than she thought...
Hero & Aubrey Platonic (Criminally Underrated) Friendship. Some Kel & Hero Sibling Relationship as well as some Extremely Functional Kelbrey. Also, Past Hero/Mari and Past Aubrey & Mari friendship. Mentions [Potential] Hero/Someone Else (doesn’t specify who she is though).

Summary
Big and exciting changes in the lives of her friends and the fast-approaching holidays force Aubrey to confront her own dreams for the future and her feelings for a certain someone that she had long tried to run away from. After years of insisting she was happy being alone, she never expected it would be Sunny who ultimately called her bluff.
When she decides to take his advice and be more open about her feelings for Kel, however, she ends up with more misunderstandings and more problems than she would have anticipated...
Kelbrey Romance, Warm & Fuzzies, and Slice of Life (with some hurt/comfort & a little attempt at humor too). A side of Sunny & Aubrey platonic friendship and some Sunny, Kel, Aubrey & Hero friendship as well. Sunny is engaged to be married in this fic, but it doesn't specify to whom, and Hero finding love again & having a girlfriend is also mentioned but it doesn't specify who he's in a relationship with. Rated T for a brief sequence of legal drinking (post-canon all the characters are aged up).
