As her laughter dies out, she finds her eyes wandering. His hair is no longer the short cut of his padawan days, he has let it grow this past year and a few strands hang haphazardly, uncharacteristically, over his forehead. His blue eyes, still mirthful from his own laughter, gaze at her unashamedly now. She lets herself look lower, at his broad shoulders and strong forearms, now resting on each arm of the chair. His sturdy legs are spread wide, right foot planted firm and left ankle resting on his knee. From here she can see a glimpse of his lightsaber resting on his thigh and the sight makes something stir deep in her gut.
