He hesitates. “Don’t freak out, alright? It’s just that I may have gotten lightly stabbed in executing my escape plan.”
“Lightly stabbed,” Steve repeats incredulously. He pinches the bridge of his nose. “Jesus Christ, let me see.”
He grabs at the hem of Eddie’s t-shirt and pulls, and before he can even register the movement Eddie’s hand is around his wrist. His grip is tight but not painful. Eddie’s touches are never painful, even though they very well could be. Eddie has this unquantifiable and undetectable power within him, raw and buzzing below his skin, just waiting to be let out. He could snap Steve’s wrist clean in half if he wanted to and it probably wouldn’t take all that much effort, if any.
He won’t, though.
Eddie would never hurt him.

Munson is and has always been scathing in his disdain for Steve. Dustin resolutely plays it off like he’s just awkward, but Munson’s the least awkward scientist Steve’s ever known. And he’s been in the Stargate program for over four years now, so he’s known a lot.
In some ways, it’s a general hatred for the Man, the military. He scowls at grunts even as he takes his orders from them. In most ways, it’s just Steve.

Summary
Saying yes to the reunion wasn’t even really a question for Eddie.
He was all for it, honestly – he has nothing but good memories from his time on set filming the kids’ comedy-adventure movie he’d done when he was…Christ, Eddie doesn’t even remember. Eleven years old, maybe?
Cut to today, fifteen or so years later, none of them – those now-adult kids from the movie – have become A-List anythings over the years, and as Eddie starts running into them in the event space that the studio had booked out for the whole shindig, Eddie finds it kind of funny the way they’d all been stuck as kids in Eddie’s head.
Funny as much as it is crazy, at least, because it's definitely kind of wild to see all those kids just as grown up as he is now, living life and carving out their own spaces in the world.
Then Eddie’s path finally crossed with Steve, and holy fucking Christ, had the past fifteen years been kind to Steve Harrington.

Summary
There’s this one ASMR channel that Eddie’s absolutely addicted to. There’s no discernible channel title, just two emojis: a baseball glove and the yellow sparkles. Eddie had stumbled across it a while ago in the recommended sidebar, and the channel is incredibly understated–-but wildly popular. Half a million subs with no captions under the videos, no text anywhere really; just a pair of beautiful, adorned hands, and incredible scrapbook work.
Then, Eddie starts to actually read the comments under the videos, and realizes the discourse that's been happening in regards to this scrapbooker: who are they?
And what seems to be most important to the viewers: what gender are they?
All Eddie knows is that the hands are just as beautiful as the art they make. When they strike up a penpalship, things get deeper and more complicated than Eddie could have guessed--and when he unexpectedly falls for the scrapbooker, he knows he's past the point of no return. There's only one thing left to do:
Go on the Hallmark romance movie journey of a lifetime.
