Baku’s eyes drifted down towards the stretch of skin revealed until something strange caught his eye. It stood out not because Humin was accustomed to staring at the dip of Hyeontak’s back often-although he did enjoy the occasional peek- but because the careful, dipping ink lines were stark against the rest of Hyeontak’s pale skin. Enjin notices it first, eyes going wide and unable to look away. Zanka doesn’t say anything, just lets him get an eyeful of the ten, pretty silver rings decorating his fingers and pretending that they’ve always been there, that they belong there.
Zanka takes good care of vital instruments. It’s why he’s considered the best at handling them, after all.
