Jamie doesn’t know how he got to Roy’s house. He thinks he must’ve broken a few driving laws, or else he ran here. He’s not sure which is worse.
All he knows is he’s standing in front of Roy’s door, and his fingers are red with blood from the cut under his eye, and he wants to go to sleep and never wake up.
Roy’s already in bed, probably, and he’s gonna be fucking angry to be woken up. Maybe Jamie should just go home. Sleep it off. Skip practice tomorrow.
But Roy said to come. He sat Jamie down all serious-like and said if his Da got within ten fucking feet of him, to come to his place. Jamie’s just trying to do what he said.

Uhura raised an eyebrow in a move she’d picked up from Spock, displaying truly Vulcan-like judgement with a single millimeter of motion. Even on a ship as large as the Enterprise, relationships were a bit of an open secret, especially between figures as visible as their Captain and First Officer. Everyone knew there was something between them, and everyone knew that everyone else knew—except for Kirk and Spock, who thought that no one knew.
But Uhura couldn’t very well say this. “Is that so,” she intoned dryly instead.
OR: Jim and Spock have started sleeping together. Jim is ready to take their relationship to the next level; Spock thinks they’re already dating; Uhura deserves a raise.
