Summary
Max could not fucking believe it. Locked up in Arkham indefinitely—as “punishment.” And by him of all people. This wasn’t just a new low. This was rock bottom.
She was going to lose her mind inside it. Her brain was always buzzing, always ticking. It couldn't handle idleness, and she needed something, anything, to keep it from eating itself.
And then, a solution came. Not that Max would call it a great one.
A breakout that felt more like a kidnapping. A black tower gilded in gold. Mandatory participation in wreaking havoc on Gotham with the world's shittiest collection of criminals ever assembled. And the single most agonizing person she’d ever met.
Still, it was better than Arkham.

Summary
An up-close encounter with a scarer when she was younger left Michaela Wazoski determined to become one herself. Now 18 years old, she finds herself getting accepted into her dream scare school despite all odds, and with no plans of letting her lack of particularly monstrous features set her back (She was, after all, as scary as any other monster out there. She was sure of it) she considered herself well on her way to making her dream become a reality. It's a shame life always has other plans.

Summary
Armed with nothing but her name, a phone given to her by God, and an anxiety disorder, Callie is tasked with seeking out all pokémon in the Hisui region after her fall through a spacetime rift. But between learning the ins and outs of living in the 19th century, trying to regain her memories, and quelling frenzied lords, it's going to be difficult to have a fun time.
Too bad she’s gonna try anyway.

Summary
Gon Freecss was a small child, smaller than most her age. Just barely reaching four feet and nine inches in height, she made for a painfully non-threatening image. But regardless of her outward appearance, every inch of her brimmed with her father’s strength and determination. Gon knew nothing of the man other than he gave her up all too easy for the life of a Hunter, a dangerous profession that she was immediately drawn to upon learning that her father had chosen it over her.
Now that she was of age to take the Hunter Exam, She was committed to passing it and seeking the man out herself the moment she got her license. It was a simple plan, clear cut, and she believed wholeheartedly she could accomplish it.
She just never expected everything to spiral so incredibly out of control.

Summary
"And then there's a customized copy of PONY PALS, a gift to you on your 14th birthday from the slippery Mr. Strider. Each page contains lovingly hand-written commentary on the deeds of this intrepid young horse. Later, about halfway through the book, rather than see the gag through to the bitter end, Strider began pasting over entire pages of original text with his own completely rewritten version of the story, while keeping all the chapter titles. His revision is a tough, emotionally draining read. But it's cathartic, in all the worst ways possible.
He tends to get carried away with his projects."Note: this work is an altered book, and it plays on the physical relationship between the original pages and the edited text. As such, it's presented as a series of images. Reading the images is the only way to get the full experience, but I'm aware that some people can't/don't want to read it that way. So if that's the case, you can skip to chapter 13, which is a text-only version of the story, including rough descriptions of the most important illustrations.

Summary
The kids don't just scratch the game - they break it, forcing it to eject them back into reality. However, it doesn't send them back home.
The four humans find themselves scattered on Alternia, and it's not even the Alternia they had been told about. Their troll friends are there, but they're not the same.
Even staying alive long enough to find each other again might be easier said than done.
