When Crowley had snaked himself across the bar top, half purring, half snarling for Aziraphale to live a little, this wasn’t exactly what he meant by it. Not exclusively, anyway. If there was a list of possibilities, it may have been on there somewhere; scrawled as a hasty afterthought, perhaps under a subheading of Things That Would Surely Never Actually Happen.
But the sight of Aziraphale lying naked and debauched in the middle of his black satin sheets was not something he was about to hesitate over.
(If there was a second list, one surreptitiously scribbled on a napkin in the dark corner of a crowded bar, it would be titled Things Crowley Had No Right To Crave As Much As He Did, and it would start and end with this single bullet point)

With no return address, he's left to collect and read the mysterious A.Z.F.'s adventures across Europe, where he hunts for bizarre bibles and rates ridiculously expensive wine in his free time. The question is: How will A.Z.F. react when Crowley finally gets his return address and writes back?

It was different, he knew, to accidentally read someone else’s postcard versus intentionally perusing one in place of good newspaper over coffee. Crowley decided he was allowed that indecency, to balance out the good deed of safeguarding the mail in the first place.
He kicked his feet up onto his desk, scooped up the takeaway coffee that was brought around by their newest intern, and settled in to read some of the most densely crowded handwriting he’d ever laid eyes on.

“You couldn’t waste a miracle getting folks in ‘ere. You’re on probation, or summin. France. Frivolous.” Crowley gestured vaguely with the fingers pinned under his chin, hoping some select keywords would warble through the air and somehow land as a fully fledged thought in Aziraphale’s ears. “So how the hell did you do it?”
The angel laughed, a joyful hymn filling the empty halls and high ceilings. He pointed a smile at Crowley. Crowley pointed his frown right back at him.
“My dear boy,” Aziraphale laughed again, softer and riddled with disbelief as he pried the scotch out of Crowley's grip. “I talked to them.”

Crowley works the bar at a discreet gentleman's club on the brink of closing. Aziraphale appears out of nowhere to get the club back on its feet, and Crowley can only admire his angel at work.
