That broke Taehyun's state enough for him to muster a half-hearted glare, pulling his hand away from the handle just as Soobin laughed and bumped his shoulder with his teasingly.
"I lend you my umbrella and this is what I get?" Taehyun managed to say as they began to walk. He kept his hands shoved in his pockets instead so he wouldn't be tempted to do something stupid like hold onto Soobin's arm or something. Tempting, since it was at the perfect height for him to do so comfortably, but he resisted temptation. It was a feeling he'd probably enjoy and that didn't go well with his attempts to shove Choi Soobin out of his heart.

Or: Yeonjun unexpectedly runs into his secret crush from school while babysitting his younger brother and immediately descends into panic. Fortunately for him though, it goes much better than expected.

Soobin leans a bit towards Yeonjun – and there's his signature smirk again, the one that makes Yeonjun's heart kick into overdrive (out of anger, of course), and he just can't help himself from saying what he does next.
"You just want to kiss me sooo bad, don't you?" Yeonjun blurts out, and it surprisingly comes out a lot more confidently than he thought it would. Emboldened, he leans into Soobin's personal space, his gaze taunting as he waits for Soobin's response – and oh. This is so much better than he ever could've expected.
Or: The five times Choi Yeonjun flirts jokingly with his arch-nemesis Choi Soobin, and the one time Choi Soobin initiates it – and actually means it.

The stranger looks up at him with an arched brow, and Soobin loathes the fact that he thinks this guy is really fucking hot.

But the exclamation mark. And the winky face. There was no way that was just friendly. That meant that there was only one other possibility, only one logical conclusion that Yeonjun could draw.

Beomgyu watched Soobin pull a list out of his pocket, an impending sense of doom making the hairs stand up on the back of his neck. He did not like the look of Yeonjun’s smile right now.
“This is Top Ten Beomgyu Simping Fails, by me and Yeonjun hyung,” Soobin announced to the room. “Ranked in order of least to most embarrassing.”
Kai’s laugh was so high and loud that it felt like it was shattering Beomgyu’s eardrums, but he could hardly hear it. It was as though his brain had simply stopped processing anything beyond when the words “Beomgyu Simping Fails” left Soobin’s mouth.
“Simping? For who?”
