George is a nice person. He doesn’t take people’s candy canes, doesn’t walk on people’s freshly cut grass, and doesn’t kick over random people’s Christmas decorations. He’s not one to do any of those things. And in fact, he’s never done any of them until tonight. On Christmas, of all nights.
In which George ditches Karl because he’s afraid to face his feelings and kicks over an old woman’s Christmas decoration and breaks the light within it. When he goes to apologize to the lady at her door, an unexpected twist occurs, and he finds himself running back to Karl’s house.

“Well, what does it taste like?” Sapnap asked. Dream hmmed and flicked his tongue out to lick his lips.
“Kind of sugary and tangy-ish? I guess like Mountain Dew.” He tried to explain. Sapnap sat down next to him.
“Can I try it?” He asked, eyes not leaving Dream’s.
“What, no, you can’t use my chapstick! And don’t even think about licking it.” He held the neon green tube close to his chest protectively.
“No, I mean like…” Sapnap leaned in slowly, eyes flicking down to Dream’s now-soft lips, which were slightly parted in surprise.

This was not what George knew. He felt muddled.

Oh my God, he was everything. He was fucking exsquisite, dripping in golden glitter and neon lights. His cheekbones sat so perfectly beneath his eyes, which were absolutely huge. His lips were a flushed pink too perfect to be natural but Dream didn’t even care, not when a boy like that was looking back at him.
Dream meets George one fateful night at a party right before the start of his senior year. He never knew just how much one boy could change him.

It’s a honeyed tone, almost husky when the words drop—something that George doesn’t think he’s heard before, and he watches ivory teeth drag over black snake bites, fixated on the way a pink bottom lip moves hard with the metal piercing. It’s hard not to stare, gaze lifting to dirty blond hair and a small smile, features so tantalizingly perfect that they render George breathless. Eyes widen, the boys smile growing, and Sapnap’s brother was not meant to be hot, that was never a part of the plan.
