Summary
15 Years after Sam left hunting for Stanford, he's content with his life. He has his wife, Jess, a successful career, and two twin boys named after the only good people he knew from his life before, Dean and Bobby.
He could say he was happy, he'd hardly even thought of hunting in a long time.
That is, until a man shows up next to their house, so clearly not human and with a grave marker, a wooden cross, planted in the ground by his side. He's heavy with the weight of mourning, stifling the air around him, and Sam can't help but be a little curious.

Summary
Dean didn't even think; he ran to Cas as fast as he could, screaming his name in pure terror, grabbing a handful of Cas's uniform to pull him into his lap. Cas's eyes were wide as he stared at Dean, hands grasping uselessly at the wound by his side. His uniform was soon more red than green and Dean could feel it seeping through his combat pants. The smell soon reached Dean's nose and he couldn't do anything more than just cradle Cas's head between his hands, sobs coming out of his mouth along with something he thought was please no, not him, not him.
He never actually believed in prayer until that very moment but he had to start, because all he could do was pray to any and every gods that could be out there to not take Cas away from him, because Dean wouldn't be able to survive without him; Dean couldn’t even think of living without Cas. The amount of blood and the paleness that Cas's face was turning told Dean that none of the gods were actually hearing him, but he kept on praying because there was nothing more he could do; please, God, no, not Cas, please, don't take him away from me, I love him. -

Summary
Body graceful, expression magnificently blank, he makes his way to center stage. All eyes are on him, except for the pair that he craves so desperately to even acknowledge his presence.
His eyes are dead-set on General Castiel Novak, but General Castiel Novak has never so much as cast the alluring young man a second glance in all the dozen times he’s visited the establishment.
Gold is dripping from the creases of Dean’s practiced sleepy eyes, trailing down freckled cheeks and dripping off his strong jaw line, splattering across the white marble of the stage.
Dean Winchester is made of liquid gold.

Summary
On the spot where Cas has just been lies a big, furry, breathing – dog.
As if in slow motion, Dean closes his eyes, rubs them, pinches his side for good measure hard enough to make him hiss, and opens them again. Nope, still there.
“I’m losing my mind,” he states, matter of fact.
At his words, the beast – there really is no other word for it – twitches its ears and then lifts its ginormous head, gazing straight at Dean out of amber eyes. Its nose twitches a few times, then it opens its muzzle and lets its tongue loll out, panting slightly. Glistening in the overhead light, Dean gets a glimpse of rows and rows of sharp-looking teeth.

Summary
Dean was drunk, that's what got him into this whole mess. No, that's a lie, he was lonely.
His brother left, his father shortly after, and he needed somebody, so he followed Sam to Stanford from a distance. Just to make sure the kid was ok, of course. On the south side of the university, Dean found an abandoned courtyard that he could just relax in, close enough to keep an eye on his dorky little brother, but somewhere where Sam wouldn't see him. But what really caught his eye about the courtyard was the statue, a beautiful angel with messy hair and eyes turning down at the corner, and Dean thought that if there was no one else around to talk to, then he might as well talk to this statue.
He didn't know the statue was watching him back.

Summary
In his final year of college, Dean Winchester’s got a lot of decisions to make: what he’s going to do with his life, where he’s going to do it, and most importantly, which girl he’s going to do... right now. And later tonight. And the next night. And the next—
When new transfer student Castiel Novak shows up first in his class, and then his friend group, Dean can’t help but see it as an infiltration. Something is up with Castiel, and he’s going to find out what. More accurately, he’s going to enlist his best and longest suffering hacker friend, Charlie Bradbury, to do it for him.
Not a single one of Dean’s suspicions has anything to do with the fact that upon their first meeting, Castiel insults his shoes, his general existence, and his masculinity by— looking at him like that.

Summary
Dean Winchester is divorced, emotionally constipated, and way behind on the deadline for his next book. Naturally, the solution is to install a hyper-intelligent, slightly smug OS named Castiel to help whip his life into shape.
Cas is efficient. Supportive. And kind of charming, in a weird way.. Also? Unreasonably flirty for someone who lives in a hard drive somewhere.
Dean's not falling for him. He's just.. lonely.
So, why does Castiel feel like the only real thing in Dean's life?

Now, the only way to send them back is through a very specific kind of bonding. It's fuck or die (or at least fuck or face permanent cosmic confusion) and Cas needs to help out too.
Dean is trying to hold it together, but between a Cowboy in leather chaps, an Omega who won't stop purring for Cas like a needy kitten, and a Dean who insists he's never had a gay thought in his life while somehow being the most eager of them all - he doesn't stand a chance.

Summary
Sam is missing, and the only person that Dean can think to run to—halfway across the country—is Castiel, a detective now employed by the Los Angeles Police Department. But Sam's disappearance isn't a result of him running off into the sunset, unlike Castiel thinks. Dean heads to Los Angeles on a hunch, hoping that Castiel can use his connections to find where Sam might be—only, the rot runs deep within the department, and what starts off as a garden variety break-in turns out to be something that if provoked, could get both Dean and Castiel killed, and end with Sam becoming the head of an organization neither of them knew existed.
But, how can Dean stop what feels inevitable before it even begins?
