He comes to kneel in the water to try to catch his reflection. The gentle laps of the waves rang in his ear and echoed around him. His hand reaches up to run a delicate finger over the petals of the flower.
Forget–Me–Nots. Remembrance. A call for memory. Before he can stand, another image catches his eye. He leans closer towards the water. Horrifically enough, deep blotches of purple darken his neck.

They had believed that it had just been a fault at the moment. Though, rather internally, Bruno has to wonder if this is a granted do over they have in their possession. It’s there in the midnight air that Bruno finds himself making a choice. Forgotten by him were that lies are crafted from glass. Some fragile enough that the cracks would grow. They would become bigger with a light of knowledge desperate to shine through before there's a force to shatter.
