A serialized virtual season, written in script format to give the story a sense of an episode. We pick up almost 2 years after the series finale, there is a twist on the flashforward scene to erase that ending. We open with Elena, writing in her diary, putting us up to date. People are dropping mysteriously unconscious, Elena and Damon have split, Matt is married, Bonnie is returning from her world travels.
Old characters with new perspectives, some same olds, new characters, and unexpected reappearances... Let the adventure begin!

Summary
Bonnie Bennett has decided to take her life into her own hands.
She won't let her parents make decisions about her future any longer. She only wishes that they felt the same way, but - unfortunately - they hate the ones she's made so far. It creates a rift between them: Bonnie vs. Abby and Rudy, and she's outnumbered. And while she and Damon are determined to persevere despite the odds, the stress of their circumstances aren't helping them any.
Still, Bonnie has faith, but sometimes, she finds herself wondering if it's enough. And with limited options, she is unsure of what's worse: trying to rebuild bridges that were burned or refusing to trust the people that can help her.
While her heart tells her not to place trust in those who hurt her, she knows that her feelings aren't the most important factor anymore.

All the two of them had ever managed was to constantly fight, make up, and make love, and walking in on them reconciling in the library once was enough for a lifetime. She wished them the best and hit the road for parts unknown, spending as much time as possible in places with terrible cell reception. Of course, Bonnie checked in on her friends, because she cared how their lives were going, but inevitably they all drifted apart as their adult lives took shape. But a call from the one person who could never drift far from her heart had her booking a return ticket to a place she hadn't hoped to see again for a very long time.

Meanwhile Rose wondered why her dad was suck a dick in the past and why her mom such a push over. But at least she was having fun before her actual mom came to get her and likely kill her for getting here in the first place, that is if her dad didn't get her first.
