They made it out alive, the both of them. They were both grateful, first and foremost, but with a new set of issues and bad memories to remember and re-live for at least the next year–they couldn’t help but be cautious. The two had been given a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere, Alaska by the US government as a place for them to lay low for the next few months until everything blows over.
The winter came fast, though, and rough.

"What do you mean?"
"Well, it's simple. I want you to continue what you were doing.”
“What?”
“That’s right, Vik. You’re going to touch yourself, and you’re going to do it in front of me.”

Exhausted after a week of nonstop work, Viktor comes home early while Jayce is stuck in a long Council meeting. All he wants is some well-deserved rest, but sleep refuses to come. Frustrated, he turns to a... less conventional method. He just didn’t expect Jayce to come home early and catch him in the act. -

Viktor looked at the hand stretched across his shoulder and followed the solid wrist up the arm and finally to meet the disapproving face of one Councilor Talis.
Viktor’s mouth dried up. Oh no.
“Viktor isn’t it? Aren’t you Councilor Heimerdinger’s student? I think you already know you’re not supposed to be roaming around the school this late. Did you get special permission to be here? If so, I’ll see that now,” Jayce asked, eyebrow raised and hand now extended like he already knew the answer to that question.

Summary
The bathroom looked a lot different now than it had when he had moved in, but the most glaring difference was the uptick in quality of his soaps. The place looked more like a poor man’s spa than anything at this point, he thought, but Luis was self-assured and always got what he wanted, no matter how frivolous it seemed to Leon. It kept them sane, really, to occasionally butt heads over the clutter of products everywhere.
A slight wobble from Luis had Leon shooting a hand out to catch him around the midsection. A crooked smile, one that didn’t quite reach the eyes, graced Luis’s face and he chuckled. “I’m supposed to be taking care of you now, Sancho. Just relax.” Leon didn’t have to say anything to convey a sense of worry, but it was quick to be shrugged off.

"Do you feel me?" He whispers. His eyes land on the glowing crevices, little and shallow slits on his skin that glowed and pulsed. Consumed and entranced by them, long fingers moved from his hip to the narrow fissure above it. It seemed to react to his touch, its pulsating glow intensifying and emitting a strange, energetic, eerie sound.
