Jimin squeezes his eyes shut for a second and holds his breath before he says, "I'll tell them it's a stage outfit. It is a stage outfit. I'll say something about how style is different in the future and that the concept team put me in it. I'll tell them that I hate it and then steal some of your hyungs' basketball shorts to wear until I can figure out how to go home, okay? They don't have to know."
"You don't though," comes the whisper. "You don't hate it. It's what— "
Jimin feels his arms constrict almost automatically, like he wants to pull this crying thing on his chest down into his ribs where it can't possibly be hurt by anything else. "The concept team did what I asked them to do, yeah," Jimin answers.
"So they know."
All Jimin can do is nod into his hair and say, "They know."
(Or: after falling asleep on the Like Crazy set, Jimin wakes up face to face with a very angry, freshly debuted, version of himself.)

"If Yoongi d--doesn't care, then--ah," he gasped. "If he doesn't, you shouldn't either, Namjoon."
At that moment, Namjoon heard that final thread of shame snap and fall away.
Perhaps it’d be a funny story if Yoongi woke up to moans and a shaking bed. It would be his fault anyways. He shouldn't have given them the idea.

Namjoon meets Jungkook at a music festival and takes him back to his hotel. He hopes his friend got the message and let him have the room.

Lan Zhan dies two years before canon and promptly wakes up in the library at Cloud Recesses right across from Wei Wuxian, napping facedown in a pile of copywork.
He has a lot of questions. Is this the afterlife? If it's not, then is he alone with his memories? And most importantly, what does he need to do to keep his soulmate alive this time?
Wei Ying did not stir as he knelt down by the desk. It had been so long since Lan Zhan had seen those beloved features and even longer since he’d been allowed to either get or stay this close to Wei Ying.
He looked so different from Lan Zhan’s memories; apple cheeked, clean, and relaxed.
Lan Zhan clamped both hands over his own mouth to stop the pained noise that threatened to escape him. Hot tears spilled down his face as he watched the young, safe, and whole boy sleep. His stomach cramped with the effort of holding the sound in, but he’d sooner die than wake Wei Ying up.

The kid’s barely out of the car when his parents speed off, kicking up a cloud of dirt that drifts into Wei Ying’s summer charge’s hair. It’s almost funny, but only almost. The kid’s a scrawny thing, more scowl than person. He hefts his bag and says snottily, “I’m Mo Xuanyu, and I’m here as punishment.”
"Gotcha!" Wei Ying says brightly. “And what did you do that’s so bad you have to spend all summer on our little farm?”
An even bigger scowl. It’s threatening to take over his entire body. It’s cute.
“I told the truth.”
“Mm, and what’s that?”
Mo Xuanyu juts his jaw. Thirteen-year-olds are funny. “I’m gay. And if you don’t like it, you can go fuck yourself.”

Lan Wangji had worried, at first, that he would not know how best to be good to Wei Wuxian, that Wei Wuxian was used to accepting so little without complaint. He didn’t want things to be adequate. He wanted to make Wei Wuxian’s life everything he deserves. But Wei Wuxian does his best to leave Lan Wangji with no doubt. It is like the bunnies, in some ways; a happy Wei Wuxian will lie flat, will reveal his vulnerable underbelly.

“Morning,” Meng Yao replies, digging his fingernails into Xichen’s palm.
It’s a first-order story about a lazy morning in bed, which is a second-order story about various lenses on various kinds of (im)maturity. Today, everyone has a good time and gets what they need.
