Jimmy jerks awake at the creak of the door opening and the sound of laughter. Blearily, he looks around for the source of the noise and falls off the couch when he sees Kara and Clark laughing and smiling as they barge inside.
Happy is a good look on Kara. He already knew that, but he’s struck all over again by how wonderful it is to see her happy.
“Kara! You’re awake!!” he calls out as he scrambles to his feet.

“Well. You are right in that aspect,” Lucifer stated looking between the empty cake plate which sat on the countertop, Trixie and Chloe. He sensed that the situation may implode at any moment. “How about we get started on the new cake?” Lucifer asked, throwing open the refrigerator to start amassing the required ingredients.
“I’ll get the flour and sugar,” Trixie said helpfully, before going to do exactly that.
“I suppose I’ll wash up the plate…” Chloe said quietly, knowing that the situation was well in hand. A new cake would be made, though god only knew how much mess there would be in the kitchen after they were done, she had only just gotten round to cleaning up all the flour from their previous cake baking session.
