“Are you just going to be here with me all night? Don’t you have friends to hang out with?”
“Uh.” Punz is taken aback by Sapnap’s words. “I do, but I want to hang out with you.”
“Why me?”
Just for a second, fireworks stay stagnant on the ground. Only the wind sounds against their ears. There isn’t a solid reason why Punz wants to hang out with Sapnap. Perhaps, it’s because he likes him. Perhaps, it’s the guilt of seeing him alone. Perhaps, it’s a mix of two. But admitting either one will be embarrassing.
Punz decides to spend his New Year’s with Sapnap.

Summary
“Sapnap? Can you hear me?”
The voice reverberates again, this time, a hint of urgency is written under the sounds of call. It does not budge Sapnap to move though, as his body remains inanimate in the current position as if he can blend right to the car.
It is sudden when a soothing warmth wraps around his fist-shaped hand, enveloping each finger like a shield against harm. Stiff hands melt against the pacifying touch, and slowly does the hand liquify under hygge until it breaks free from its shape.
“Hi.” A lulling voice calls him— the soothing voice calls him. Bravery builds up in Sapnap’s chest for him to open his soaked eyes and see the true source of the voice.
His eyes are met with aquamarine; blue as deep as the infinite ocean, yet comforting to watch its tides motion over the water surface. There is no force within those eyes— no anger, no shock. Only worry is present, along with saltwater and sea. A beautiful pair.
Sapnap finally processes who is holding his hand. His boyfriend.
As Sapnap drives through a heavy rainstorm, panic builds up in his clogging throat. Luckily, Punz is there to comfort him to ease.

Summary
An applause for the violinist. Punz removes the graphite from the page. He looks up, only to be greeted with a bowing Sapnap, straightening halfway through the applause. Jade rests on cerulean. A frown is to be seen, before hollow steps fade along with the brunet against red silky curtains.
The comforting breeze washes away. Others fall back to their seats.
Punz is left breathless.

Summary
Like the clouds, Sapnap's thoughts move leisurely. But while it moves at such a turtle-like pace, it is fogged by a huge cloud of pessimism. Pessimism so heart-breaking, so gut-wrenching, and so mind-pounding that Sapnap just doesn't want to allow another breath with the pessimism moulded in his mind.
Sadly, the pessimism is a craving Sapnap can't stop in just a snap of a finger. It's so addicting — so finger-licking, sweet, and sugarcoated of an addiction that can't be stopped without help.
He never asks for help.
Sapnap watches them with a genuine smile.

After minutes passed, Dream was finished with the ramen as presented unto Karl were noodles drowned in tangy tawny broth and chopsticks displayed at the side.
The heady scent crammed into Karl’s lungs, releasing a powerful nostalgia throughout his body as a sigh of satisfaction escaped his mouth. The smell possessed him into a state of haze. God, he wanted to eat that ramen immediately. He didn’t care if it’s bland-looking or non-nutritious. He needed to shove it in his mouth as soon as possible because the fragrance was undeniably pleasing.
Karl would eat anything if it’s cooked by Dream, even if it’s as simple as a bowl of instant ramen.

Summary
Sapnap felt awful for feeling the way he did. He felt like it was wrong to be in love with George. It was meant to be Dream and George, right? So that's what it was going to be. He didn't stand a chance. But that didn't stop him from being jealous and wishing he did have a chance, even going so as far as trying to convince himself he had romantic feelings for both of his best friends so he his chances increased.
George, on the other hand, was less confused. He knew about a lot more than his two housemates thought, but he was still blind to the most obvious of things. It took a game of chess for him to fall in love, who knew it would take another game of chess to set things in stone?

George finds sentimental value in many things, but his fascination with Sapnap's violin is almost overwhelming. In many respects, he thinks that instrument is Sapnap and wants nothing more than to drag his fingers along the polished wood. When he asks Sapnap to play a song for him, George is fully confronted with feelings that have been brewing for months.

Sapnap hates to admit it to himself, but he’s terrified of how different everything will be after George finally moves in with him and Dream in Florida tomorrow.Dream and George, George and Dream. Everybody thinks that they’re meant to be together, even their own friends. And maybe they are, Sapnap reminds himself, wishing he could reasonably deny it to himself. He’s not exactly sure why he wishes that he could so badly.
He wants his friends to be happy, doesn’t he? Even if that happiness doesn’t include him. Right?

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
