Wingless, trapped in Hell and left to scrub its floors forever was not exactly the way Michael had thought things would end up. Apparently, Lucifer needed a few thousand years to cool off. That left him plenty of time to think...
Then Lucifer did the one thing that Michael had never thought he would do: He returned to Hell.... as its Healer.
Lucifer, the Devil, Healer of Lost souls? Ridiculous.
Even more ridiculous was his firmly stated purpose of Healing THEIR souls and reconciling their relationship. Restoring a brotherly bond that Michael had thought shattered past any hope of repair. But Lucifer was determined and Michael....didn't have anything left to lose. But a relationship sundered and poisoned by eons of pain and betrayal would not be an easy one to repair, and it would take some intensive therapy, and an almost sentient Hell-Loop, to make any kind of progress happen.

Summary
After the family dinner at Linda's house, Michael decides to undertake his own plans even against his father's orders: to ruin Lucifer's life. Therefore, he decides to carry out a little plan to incorporate himself into his fallen brothers' lives. Anything to prove himself better than them and, in the process, put Lucifer through a little hell, right?
As for Lucifer, he cursed the day his parents decided he had to be born at the same time as Michael. He loathed his psycho twin with every fiber of his being (he got more than one reason to do it) and he knew that the fact that Michael decided to follow in his footsteps and stay on Earth could only mean he was up to something. Ohh, but what the asshole doesn't know, is that Lucifer also had plans of his own.

It is with this heavy heart that Sasuke accepts being Naruto's shadow; both in life and in love. He watches his so called soulmate fall into a natural rhythm of domestic bliss with the Hyūga girl. She is a pleasant, pliant proxy for Sasuke: inky tresses, reserved and bright eyed. Where she smiles & supports, Sasuke can only bring himself to simmer with scorn.
So, like clockwork - like the assured waxing and waning of the moon - Sasuke allows Naruto's difficult presence back into his life, once a fortnight. He allows the anesthesia of their physical bond to numb the horrible truth he's always known: Naruto loves his dream and imminent future more than he'll ever love Sasuke. And as long as he can have everything he’s ever wanted, he doesn’t mind if the only way to keep Sasuke within reach is in cuffs, in chains, in an eternal cell.
In a sick joke between cruel gods, Sasuke finds begruding companionship in the other Hyūga: the prodigal, doomed son. The spare to Naruto's precious heiress. The irony is not lost on him. Fate - unlike him - has a sense of humour.
