Summary
Years after the Lylat Wars, the Lylat System has reached a somewhat peaceful equilibrium. It is not, however, at rest. Different rogue powers are trying to establish themselves in the backdrop of Corneria's dominion, and on the power vacuum left by Andross' demise.
Star Wolf and Star Fox managed to not cross paths since their last encounter during the Lylat Wars, but ended up unexpectedly clashing again in Fortuna. This story includes the lead-up to this unexpected turn of events, and accompanies both teams henceforth, with a particular focus on their team captains, Wolf O'Donnell and Fox McCloud, as they try to find their place in the new Lylat System.
