Technically, Toons were supposed to turn into their rooms at night and stay there, but there really wasn't anything to enforce such a rule, so most did as they pleased--- Shrimpo certainly wasn't one to follow this rule either, And apparently, neither was Finn.

Will had always wondered what he was. How he was what he was. He grappled with the constant self-conflict most of his life. But why should something coded inside him leave him terribly guilt-ridden? He thought of his mom and brother. He thought of them seeing him walk through the front door, blood-stained mouth and hands, like they had numerous times. They would have to pack up and leave again. Or, maybe this time, a time Will had felt coming for a long while, they would realize they couldn’t handle him. Couldn’t handle his desire, and couldn’t handle his hunger.
