“He’s perfect,” Seokjin says, the wonder and astonishment in his voice making Yoonji roll her eyes. “When you mentioned you had a brother, I never imagined a carbon copy.”
Yoonji gestures for Yoongi to stand up and show off his clothes a bit now that his makeup is done. She props her hands on her hips and resists smirking as her brother visibly fumes when he’s told to spin around and take a few steps around the dressing room. “So,” she addresses Seokjin, “d’you think he’ll be good enough to fool the best of them?”
Seokjin puts a hand on his chin and appears to seriously consider it, regarding Yoongi with a long, critical, narrow-eyed stare. Then, he raises a hand in the so-so gesture. “We’ll need to work on his posture. And maybe a longer wig.”
Yoonji snorts. “Of course that’s what you worry about.”
“I’m not a fucking model, asshole,” Yoongi says, giving Seokjin the death stare now.
“Oh, you will be, baby brother,” Yoonji tells him, smirking. “You will be soon enough.”

Summary
AU. Despite being born a prince, Yoongi’s own family treats him with suspicion and fear since his birth corresponds with a bad omen in the kingdom’s prophecies, as if his very existence threatens the peace and abundance of their land.
