Summary
After Tartarus, things were different. Percy Jackson was bed ridden on Olympus in Apollo's temple as he learns his worst nightmare is coming true: Percy was becoming a god whether he wanted to or not. Desperately, he tries to make the Fates change their minds. Instead, Percy and Apollo find themselves stranded in Ancient Greece where they must figure out a way to get home while also having to handle the meddling gods of the past. Meanwhile, in the present, Olympus scrambles as they discover the duos disappearance.

Perseus shoulders hunched over and his face turned guilty. A surprising turn of events for his otherwise very stubborn sibling.
“I know, I know, I shouldn’t have used blood-bending— it’s just, just hard sometimes, you know? The girl probably would’ve died, I was too far away, and I know it’s my fault, but I promise I’m working on it!“

Percy uses blood bending in a fight, he saves a kid and then gets broken up with by Annabeth. So, he locks himself in his cabin and increasingly heavy earthquakes begin to shake the camp. Amphitrite focuses on nothing but her connection to the child through the prayer. The connection which is abruptly cut off after a blood curdling scream pierces her mind.
Amphitrite flashes away from her domain in Atlantis within milliseconds to the kitchen of Sally Jackson.
