Bucky has no connection to these people whatsoever outside of his friendship with Sam, and yet the feeling of being surrounded by all of them, wrapped up in their world and embraced without a second thought does weird things to his brain chemistry. It brushes against a piece of his soul that was locked up tight, rusted shut and frozen over for decades. It touches a part of him that he’d forgotten was even there. It’s liberating, it’s freeing, it makes him feel like a person and it’s amazing it’s just—

Seriously, how self-absorbed can those wizards possibly be? Just a little headcanon of mine. I hope you will all find it as amusing as I do. Written as a story, but really it's more of a rant/essay about the vanity of wizards.

With James out of the country, Peter stuck at home, and Remus trapped by the full moon, it’s Lily Evans (who hates his guts) that Sirius is forced to turn to for shelter and more advice than he could have bargained for.

Summary
Series was formerly "Remus Lupin and the darkness", but evolved way beyond that.
I should probably make clear somewhere that these are standalones in that they share some sort of continuity, but occasionally veer of into different AUs at different points of the timestream. So Not By Force is definitely not where things are meant to go, it's just an exercise in misery ^^
