Summary
Peter always found Neal. That was a special skill of his. Until a time came when he couldn’t. A woman long forgotten from Neal’s past comes back and kidnaps him. She is completely infatuated with him. Neal found comfort in Peter being able to find him until he realizes that Peter wasn’t going to come this time. Peter wasn’t going to save him. Meanwhile Peter and Mozzie can’t forgive themselves for not being able to find him and won’t stop trying to find him. When Neal gets back he has to pick up the pieces of his shattered life and rebuild. Eventually he does, but he realizes the road of recovery is long, hard, and never ending. He realizes that his past is never truly behind him. He learns to live with it and eventually moves on to hopefully find true happiness.
