This is a The Stand/Hannibal (NBC) crossover au. So whatever you'd expect from that. Also, I just couldn't do Will justice. Hugh Dancy does Will justice. Someone else inspired should write this crossover. I would love to read it. Also, there are scenes from The Stand here, altered. Anything too familiar is a product of me having read that book a dozen times.

Will asks him, a faint smile playing on his lips. His eyes are alight with interest. He removes his thumb from Hannibal's mouth in favor of fully cupping his face.
“Perhaps I don't want to.”
“Why not? We both know that you prefer women.”
Hannibal shrugs and carefully takes the hand on his face in one of his own, turning his head to place a close-lipped kiss on the center of Will's palm.
“That's true. However, I am... curious about this. About you.”

Summary
As much as Will Graham is pale and retiring before others, or a mosaic before Jack Crawford, he is prismatic in Hannibal’s view. A seething garden to rival all the temptations set before Saint Anthony by the hosts of Hell. It smells of sweet decay; Will is sick with it. And it takes as little as the effortless slide of a fingernail below the surface of his tenuous calm to set the corruption blooming on his skin.
Mesmerizing. All the more so because Hannibal is intent on teaching Will to want it. Or, rather, showing him that he already does.
