Summary
Will Byers hated crowds, but he loved roller coasters. Amusement parks had never been his forte. Too many people, too many noises, too many smells. But the second he sat in those stupid, uncomfortable plastic seats with belts that dug into your hips and shoulder guards that restricted your breathing, he knew he had never experienced such joy.
OR
will is a single rider on a rollercoaster and mike's friends abandon him

Summary
Simon’s diary consisted almost entirely of writings about Jack and about Jack alone.
Roughly seven parts to three, one might say.
Yet for the longest time the entries consisted of little more than Simon repeatedly calling Jack insufferable in a dozen different shades of annoyance... until the final few pages.

Summary
Halting his blubbing, Mike blinks his eyes back open and allows for his vision to adjust to the unreasonably bright light that’s still surrounding him. His head lolls to the side, vision still coming in and out of focus as he tries to take in the image in front of him, blocking out all of his other senses.
Mike squints and… Oh.
Okay—why is God the dictionary definition of the word 'gorgeous'?
OR: Upon getting his wisdom teeth removed, Mike Wheeler doesn't remember much of anything—including Will Byers, and the fact that they're married to each other. He still feels all the love and adoration he has for the man, though... so he can't be blamed if it all comes spilling out of him in one way or another.

For someone like Mike, it is never enough to just be an onlooker. He can’t be passive, not now, especially when the opportunity is practically thrown at his face.

Summary
“No!” Mike exclaimed, “Holly, I’m not marrying him!”
“Why?” Holly whined, as Mike tried to walk away. She threw both arms around his legs and sank to the floor, sitting on his feet so that it was extremely difficult to walk.
“Because,” said Mike, trying to free himself from her grip by shaking his legs. She only held on tighter.
“But he’s so amazing,” said Holly, as Mike shuffled his feet slowly when he realised she would not be relinquishing her hold on him anytime soon. He dragged her into the hallway so he could put on his coat. “He’s the best, most incrediblest, most fantastic babysitter in the whole world! You should marry him!”
Or; Will Byers, well-known as an outcasted freak at Hawkins High, is Holly Wheeler’s babysitter, and perhaps the loveliest person Mike has ever met.
