Summary
Renjun is staring down the bottom of his empty wine glass and considering retreating into the woods to live alone as a hermit for the rest of his life by the time someone slides into the seat across from him. He doesn't bother looking up; he knows who it is.
“You know how people used to think black cats were a sign of bad luck?” he asks.
“I don’t think that applies here,” Jaemin says, folding his hands to act like a chin rest as he blinks at Renjun from across the table. “Technically, I show up after all your bad dates. Also, I love cats.” As an afterthought he adds, “Meow.”
Renjun keeps going on terrible first dates, and keeps running into the same suspiciously handsome stranger after each one. It’s like something out of a romcom, except his life is not a romcom, so he can only assume the suspiciously handsome stranger is actually a suspiciously handsome stalker. Or maybe, just maybe—
It’s fate.

Summary
On Huang Renjun’s 25th birthday he wakes up in bed next to his ex-boyfriend’s best friend. This isn’t ideal for several reasons: one, he’s supposed to hate Jaemin. Two, he still kind of hasn’t gotten over Mark. It only gets worse when he shows up to his job interview hours later, and the interviewer is—you guessed it—Mark.
It’s a blessing that he still manages to get the job. It’s a curse that he somehow ends up back in Jaemin’s bed the very next day. There's no way this is going to end well, but people are always telling Renjun he needs to live in the moment more.
Now’s the moment, Renjun figures. And by god, he’s fucking living in it.

Summary
After too many sleepless nights of hearing the headboard bang into the wall all night long, Donghyuck desperately needs a new housemate arrangement.
His friends are doing their best to convince him that enemy number one, Na Jaemin, will somehow be suitable. He doesn't agree, but even Jaemin seems intent on proving him wrong.
"It's just part of being a good housemate," Jaemin continues to say with a small shrug. "You know, cook sometimes for each other, clean up after yourself, and make sure they're having the best orgasms of their life. Standard things."
"That is not standard," Donghyuck whispers sharply.

Johnny’s comment pierces through Jaehyun's thoughts, and he looks at him, as if just fully hearing what he had just said. Johnny’s looking at him with a knowing look, as if he knows exactly why Jaehyun asked him for a drink, as if he knows it’s not just for the nostalgia of it all.
Jaehyun scoffs at that. “You’re only two years older than me.” He takes a second to take a drink from his cup before he continues. “Glad to know you and Leonardo DiCaprio wouldn’t see eye to eye, though, I guess.”

He wraps stiff arms around Mark's body, presses guilt-dirty hands to his back, and whispers an uglily forced, "Yeah, sure. Congrats, hyung," into his brother's sweaty hair.
Mark laughs his high-pitched giggle into the crook of Jisung's neck, back straightened up to throw his arms around his shoulders, feet bending at the tips because it is now Jisung the one who's always a bit too out of reach. Jisung would swallow mud a million times to get him laughing like this.
