Technically: the word they’ll always have to fall back on, some sort of death trap disguised as a fire blanket. Dream had never known a better word for them. Technically we’re dating, technically we’re not. Safe, secure, unsuspecting, hidden until needed. Technically sounds simple in practice, but that’s the thing with fire blankets; sometimes people get burned.
Or, it’s Dream and George’s first Valentine’s Day together, and two weeks in L.A. is enough to convince Dream they might not make it.
