Heidän välillään on vain vähän, ihan vähän viilenevää meri-ilmaa. Hän voi melkein tuntea Bojanin kehosta säteilevän lämmön.”
Levoton Jere on ajelehtinut pätkätyöstä ja ihmissuhteesta toiseen, tunnollinen Bojan keskittynyt suorittamaan yliopisto-opintojaan ja täyttämään muiden odotuksia.
Molemmat päätyvät kesätöihin syrjäiselle majakkasaarelle, ja kohtaaminen meren äärellä muuttaa kaiken.

“What, you plan to bully Mikke?” Jere asked with a chuckle, though it died down quickly when he saw the worried look in Bojan’s deep, dark eyes. “Bojan?”
Bojan licked his lips nervously, gripping Jere’s hand tightly. “I just- I feel like you’ll disappear if we go outside.”
Jere frowned and glanced out of the window out to the street. It was pretty busy, most people going home around this time. “How?”
“I don’t know.”
“Okay.” Jere nodded, giving Bojan a reassuring smile. “We go outside together, yes? You hold me and see I never go anywhere.”
“Of course,” Bojan whispered.
Jere opened the door, practically dragging Bojan over the threshold. Blood roared in Bojan’s ears, breath quickening, dread building and piling up and forcing itself up his throat and-
when he stepped outside Jere just wasn’t there anymore.

In 2025 Bojan’s life is very different from where he expected it to be back in April 2023. It wasn’t one particular decision that brought him where he is, it was a flow of life with its sharp turns and rocky waves. And okay, maybe some wrong choices and disappointments sprinkled on top too.
Bojan still makes music and plays gigs, and yet happiness seems permanently out of his reach. Is there a way to bring back joy and hunger for life that had once overfilled him? Does he even know he is missing them?

When Joker Out’s manager landed them the Eurovision gig, the whole band was ecstatic. Of course, they all knew it was only half of the job done, but it was a big step nonetheless. Bojan could feel that something big was brewing for them, and they needed to not fuck up. Everything was working out perfectly, all the pieces aligning into the magical yellow brick road to the success he craved with his whole soul.
