The hallway beyond stretches long and dim, lit by strips of pale white light along the floor. The air felt cooler here. Or perhaps his temperature regulators were malfunctioning.
He steps into the corridor.
“Hello?” he calls.
His voice echoes back at him—
No response.
He walks.

Summary
The Ruined Refugee AU returns, continuing Sun and Ruin's story following that unfortunate Valentine's day of 2024 and Sun's argument with Moon in the daycare as they adjust to life in their new home away from the stress of the main city. But does that mean all their troubles have fluttered away?
... Unfortunately for our fellows, the grim answer will soon make itself known.
For those unfamiliar, the Ruined Refugee AU features my personal take on a version of Ruin who is a mix between his game counterpart and the ruin from the show as seen in late 2024. One who is no villainous mastermind nor cares to be, simply a broken man seeking safety and refuge after escaping his war-torn dimension.
And I am not saying that my Ruin is better than SAMS's version or that canon Ruin is bad, this is just my fun AU to showcase my personal take on a character made to more suit my own tastes.
Lastly, as per usual on these stories- please don't ask about updates! I do have some chapters already written but after that, updates may be slow and "please update" comments never encourage me.

Summary
Since the closure of Fazbear Entertainment, many of their once famous animatronics have since been scrapped in this day and age of anti sentient machines. What few remain in any condition either got lucky and bought by collectors.
For Rusty it meant torture. A former attendant now shambling heap of metal clinging to life much against his will until he restarts in the shed on the property of such a collector. How does one adjust going from being a scorned monster to beloved machine.
For Sunshine it meant misery. A Sun bot still not over the loss of his moon suddenly finds himself falling for this new stranger. How will he be able to decipher memories of the past and of the present.

Kayden blinks, completely baffled at the sight, “the hell?” he mutters to himself.
Kayden finds an abandoned baby, then promptly decides to raise it himself.
