Summary
When Katsuki Yuuri thinks about his life, he feels like maybe it should have the subtitle 'A Study In Contradictions' after it. As he grows and learns more about himself though, he decides he's willing to acknowledge that being a 'Work In Progress' is ok too.
Even if he struggles with uniting the 'online' and 'in real life' portions of himself, at least he's got friends in both places who are willing to stick by him while he works shit out. And maybe more than friends, if the look in Victor's eyes is anything to go by... How did this become his life!!?!?
[A/N: Yuuri only seems to have a dismal online presence because he spends his time in places Phichit doesn't know about. This is basically Victor supporting Yuuri LONG before Yuuri realizes it, and Yuuri dominating Victor in a much more in-your-face way than the show delves into. If that's even possible.]

Basically, barista Yuri is bad at budgeting and is forced to find alternative methods to make rent. He works at a coffee shop owned by Viktor. Otabek comes from a wealthy family, and is willing to help in exchange for a questionable agreement.
This is incredibly self-indulgent. Please mind the tags. Yuri is 20 going on 21 and Otabek is 25.

I want him.
When the full realisation hit him, Yuri felt as though he couldn’t breathe. Detached and fleeting thoughts that had passed through his mind finally took shape in these three words at that exact moment. The I being himself, Yuri Plisetsky, age 17, a Russian figure skater with a list of impressive accomplishments to his name that seemed pretty pointless right now given the context. The want being desire, the need to bury himself, the thought to consume, but never actually act out except behind locked doors in empty beds or shower stalls. The him being the person standing across from Yuri sipping coffee from a take-away cup with creased brows, the low sunlight hitting his face just so to light up his otherwise dark eyes. Someone he considered to be his best friend, who came all the way from Almaty just to spend a week with him and who was blissfully unaware of the fucking turmoil Yuri was feeling in the pit of his stomach. Or at least, Yuri hoped he was unaware.
In which Yuri Plisetsky invites Otabek Altin over to stay with him in Saint Petersburg, freaks out over his feelings and delves into Lilia's liquor stash.
