King T'Challa opened Wakanda to the world. With fury in his heart, Namor of Talokan comes to Wakanda for the transgression and the very real danger of the exposure of his people. He instead finds the world is much too complicated, too horrible, and too beautiful to simply burn.
Or a god falls to his knees.

“Do you not want kids at all?” he whispered, dangling his words in the air. “Or,” he choked on his tongue. In his mind, he knew that this was not the right thing to say, especially as he felt his relationship hanging on by a thread, but his heart had to know. He had to know. “Or do you not want kids with me?”

Summary
They both knew that it was likely that Namor would outlive Shuri. What he was not prepared for was Death arriving earlier than either of them expected.
Perhaps he must face the inevitable truth: that he could never have accepted her death anyway, whether it would come tomorrow or in a thousand years. Namor just thought he would have more time to figure out how to immortalize her.
Namor never truly accepted the possibility of being without her. He will not.
He knew about stones that can control time and space, or wizards that were killed a million times but never died.
The King of Talokan was not about to lose his Queen like this. He will tear through the earth to find an answer, or burn it all in the process.

She was to be married to Namor to strengthen their alliance.
Because he yielded to her wasn’t enough.
Because her promise to keep both nations safe wasn’t enough.
Because both Wakandans and Talokanils doubt an alliance without something solid would eventually rattle. As if this was the middle ages.Series

"What should my caption be?" she asked, looking to him for inspiration. Namor laughed at her; she always did this, asked for his opinion, yet never followed his advice.
His hand came to her cheek. "In k’áatech," he said, giving her a kiss on top of her head. "As for your caption, I have no clue; I know you’d turn down all my ideas anyways."

Summary
Princess Shuri didn't believe in the ancestral plane. She thought it was a figment of the imagination, a trick produced by the mind to help new panthers deal with the excruciating effects of the herb as their bodies transformed. But when she takes the newly synthesized heart-shaped herb, she is greeted by familiar and unfamiliar faces that change her perspective entirely.
She only hoped that it was in time to save her people from impending war and protect the love that would one day unite the two most powerful nations.
------
My take on "what if Shuri saw someone else in the ancestral plane".
