Summary
Edwin couldn't let himself believe it. He wasn't sure what was real anymore. Hell had a way of doing that to a soul. Of playing with its prey. Demon's fed on the hope of their tortured souls in their charge. It made them all that more delicious to torment. So when Charles shows up in Hell, Edwin has a hard time allowing himself to believe it.
Or an introspection on Edwin's thoughts when Charles came to save him in Hell. It follows the scene pretty frame by frame but with some more angst.

Summary
After Wilbur was revived, nothing felt right. Everything felt far away like he was drowning. He put on a brave face for his family but he couldn't shake the constant pit in his stomach. When Techno repays his favour and helps Dream escape prison, he escapes with a vengeance for Tommy, and everything falls apart. DSMP AU for angst :) Tommy never died in the prison. Ranboo and Dream are a bit more connected than Ranboo hopes. Wilbur isn't having a fun time.
