Summary
The stand alone stories are after Nimue and Thranduil are reunited set in the time before The Hobbit. I hope to write their entire epic since my muses refuse to let things go.
Nimue and Thranduil grew up together and slowly fell in love, only for Oropher to forbid their union. Thranduil, the dutiful son, marries the woman chosen by his father. The union is amicable, and he would not trade his son for all the silmarils, but he has removed every ounce of love from his heart, determined to never be hurt again.
Nimue never gave up but when her home is destroyed and her family killed by the foul forces gathering in the Greenwood before the War of the Last Alliance, she makes her way to Imladris and starts her life over as an anonymous kitchen maid.

Only time will tell whether the soul behind The Eyes Of Truth will be strong enough for both of them.

The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies.
How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after.I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). I am following what happened to Thranduil's realm after the Hobbit from the LOTR book appendices...There will also be many feasts and celebrations along the way! #partykingthranduil
