Why wasn’t she scared?

Summary
It was the 5th of October when Sirius found a box. There was a roll of wrapping paper next to it and a caption written in bold letters. Open when you get it.
There were a bunch of letters inside, all in bright envelopes, captioned in familiar handwriting.
SIrius felt ready to cry. He didn’t though. He cried all his tears in the past week and didn’t think there were any left.

Summary
“Don’t fuck with me, Jask. That’s not what happens when you get a Witcher lover. We don’t age, maybe even get younger, we heal better, we don’t fall ill. The mutagens in their seed or maybe something else, but they pass whatever it is to those who lay in bed with them regularly enough.”
“And I shared Geralt’s bed every night for the past three years and there is silver in my hair.” Honestly, that was just a hair or two, totally reasonable for someone past their mid twenties. For a human past their mid twenties, to be precise. For a human who doesn’t happen to have sex with a Witcher on a regular basis, which Jaskier doesn’t, not that it is a well known fact around the keep.
_____Witcher's seed makes those they choose to take to their beds long-lived and healthy. The thing is, Jaskier doesn't like sex, and no sex means he does grow old.

Summary
Over the years, Jaskier gets a reputation amongst witchers as the guy who will get you out of bind if you need him to. He’s the witchers’ bard, after all. Need a hand with your injuries? A safe place to hide? A friendly face? Find Jaskier.
Jaskier, on the other hand, has no idea why witchers in trouble keep bumping into him on the road, but fate is funny that way, isn’t it? He’s certainly not going to turn them away

Summary
"We could have a child. If we wanted."
"But you do not want one," Benedict noted, his stomach sinking.
“I did not say that," Sophie corrected, turning towards him and taking his hand in hers, playing with his fingers. "I know I want to be a mother, someday. Someday soon, I think. But I do not think I can be only a mother and wife. I need other things to occupy me, something beyond running our cottage and doing chores. I need something ...”
She cut herself off, clearly frustrated by her inability to explain. That was alright; Benedict understood her completely. "You need something that you are passionate about. Something that drives you, like my painting does for me."
Sophie struggles with how to occupy her time now that she's no longer a maid. Benedict does everything he can think of to help.

Summary
The benefits for attending the ball disguised as a man were numerous. Men could enjoy plentiful food and drink without being perceived as gluttonous. She could slip in and out of the ball without the need for a chaperone's careful gaze. No man could harangue her about her dance card or corner her where she could not escape, if she didn't appear at all like one of the debutantes.
