Six years has past since Ronan and Adam broke up, leaving on the worst of circumstance. Ronan escaped to Ireland, avoiding his feelings and by doing so, avoids the whole of the Gangsey. After years of begging, Ronan finally visits his friends in New York only to find a gut-wrenching truth: Adam Parrish is getting married. Ensue, a whole heap of pining and Ronan trying his best to become a supportive friend, while facing the unavoidable fact - that he is still in love with Adam.

Summary
Teaching was never Ronan Lynch's first choice of profession. Or second. Or third. But Aglionby Academy had been desperate for a Latin teacher, and Ronan had a degree in Classics, so the position just kind of fell into his lap four years ago and he hasn't really looked back.
Which is fine. He doesn't hate it. He doesn't love it either, but after four years, it's become familiar. Then the new school year starts and along with it comes a new Chemistry and Physics teacher: Adam Parrish.
For Ronan, it's crush at first sight, and it doesn't take long to figure out the feeling is mutual. Except acting on those feelings is a bit of a problem for Ronan and Adam.
Because Aglionby doesn't allow dating among its teachers.

Chasing down a mysterious address left behind by a dead psychic was much more attainable than getting ice cream, which was all sorts of messed up but also the truest thought Ronan had had all day, so he shifted into reverse and peeled out of the two spots the BMW had been taking up without even bothering to glance at his mirrors. He was already burning rubber, practically drifting around the corner of the parking lot exit, when he asked, "Where to?"
