Summary
Tooru remembers doing this with Sasaki, expecting how a talk would turn out, just wishing he could skip ahead where everything is resolved. But actually getting down and dealing with it, dealing with them, has helped a lot more than just riding it out.
Last night, Tooru had said something to Urie without having thought it through. And the ensuing confusion and anxiety could have easily been avoided.
"I think we should take a break."
Fucking hell. -

Wherever he is inside his mind, where his thoughts are loose strings tangling briefly before floating along, where his body is sensitive enough that he can only lay back and feel, he doesn’t want to leave.

Summary
As calm as he was in the battlefield, blood in a setting like this- in a safe haven, late at night with someone who trusts him- it gnaws and grinds on his senses like nothing ever had.

Summary
Mutsuki liked to think, just to himself, that he gave something to Urie that no one else could, that their scrapes and bruises and hickeys were something special- that, for instance, their universe in the quiet pool room was occupied only by them, gravitating towards each other no matter how many waves separated them.

Summary
"We crossed a line, didn't we? And I don't want to go back." Jack's voice is low, quiet in the shell of her ear, more of a rumble than anything else.
His finger traces the curve of her waist, the dip of her navel, the ridges of her ribcage. They didn’t use protection. Neither of them asked. They are both board certified in emergency medicine; all risks they take are calculated. They have been avoiding this moment for years now, brakes squealing on a freight train, barreling towards a car stuck on the tracks.

Summary
“Do I have your number?” Robby asked suddenly.
“Uh, sorry?” Dennis looked surprised.
“Do I have your phone number?” Robby repeated, reaching into his back pocket for his phone.
“Um. I don’t think so.” Dennis shook his head, taking the phone that Robby was now holding out to him.
“I’m having Jack house sit for me during the day, and he’ll be out at night for his usual 7:00PM shifts. If you, uh. Get a little too sick of Garcia, and Santos too I guess, you can go camp out in my loungeroom.” Robby offered. “You don’t have to take me up on that. It’s just, y’know. Out there. For you. If you need.”
OR Hucklerabbot enter a messy arrangement that leads to a messy three way relationship. Happy endings though, always.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker was raised to believe that suffering meant devotion. Taught that his body was a sin before he was taught how to survive it. Years later, homeless and desperately clawing his way through med school, he is still learning the difference between devotion and punishment. Jack and Robby enter his life without scripture and demands. Everything is wrong.
or Dennis has a major fear of alphas taking advantage of his situation due to his family teachings which leads to him being unable to see Jack and Robbys good intentions. Lots of patience and lots of love at the end.

Summary
The first couple of dollars that the machine ate up without remorse were an annoyance, something that made Dennis sigh and unzip his wallet without thinking about it to try again. By the time that the vending machine had eaten seven whole dollars, in coins, and Dennis didn’t have anything to show for it, he was close to thumping his forehead against the cool glass and hoping he could derive some sort of enjoyment or nourishment from simply just looking at the colourful packages as they remained firmly in their coils.
He didn’t often carry coins. Those were his last few dollars and he was woefully aware that somebody had offhandedly mentioned that the staffroom vending machine destroyed notes, so he wasn’t going to be getting a soda, a bag of chips or anything else that might settle his belly from the incessant grumbling it was doing.
~
5 times + 1 that Robby buys something for Dennis and makes him feel like he's about to keel over, right there and then.
