Then she stood and quietly left, her figure vanishing as she closed the door behind her. Obedient as always, Yeonjun began counting. He tried his best, but he couldn't block out the escalating noise from the living room. He heard their voices rising in anger. Their words were sharp and heavy, tumbling into chaos. His little heart quickened with every crash or thud.
But he kept counting. He wanted to be good for her.
After a time, silence fell, so unsettlingly heavy that it nearly suffocated him. His home seemed too empty all of a sudden, and curiosity got the better of him. Silently, he opened his eyes, then crept to his bedroom door and slipped out into the dark hallway.
When he reached the living room, the sight was too much for that little boy.

Their friends pretend that they are fine with it, although they’d much rather see them getting along. The same goes for the weird old lady that catches them bickering at a Christmas market, who ends up giving them weird advice that neither of them understands.
When they wake up the next day with handcuffs tying them together, it doesn’t take long before they realize they have been cursed. Because there is no keyhole, and thus no way for them to escape each other… unless they find a way to solve it, together.
