Summary
Batsy likes to watch Joker do his face in the mornings. Joker likes that he watches.
Batman had watched him sleep. He liked to do that, to watch Joker sleep – he didn’t do it just when the two of them fucked. Sometimes, Joker would stir and open one eye to the sight of a silhouette on his floor, a shadow in the corner, or a sudden sound of shifting leather. Sometimes, he woke to no sound or smell alone, but could smell that the Bat had been there, smell his kinky outfit and his sweat and the lingering tang of his explosive gel, and he’d know that the Bat had been there, stared over him while he was unconscious.
The last time at Arkham, he’d been there a few nights a week, even if only for an hour or so. The shrinks used to tell him he was dreaming, but he knew better.

Summary
Jack is recovering from a near-fatal stabbing. Gabriel has a point to make to the person who permitted the stabbing to occur. They get distracted on the way there — Jack's always been at his prettiest when he's out of his mind.
Jack doesn't remember being carried downstairs. He remembers waking up, he thinks, the world hazy and soft around him, the feeling of Gabriel pressing around his surgical sites with near clinical precision. He remembers thinking, oh, he didn't leave those marks, he's going to punish me, before vertigo hits him hard as a car crash. He gives into it, and drifts. He doesn't know for how long.

Summary
A young Jack Morrison finds himself falling for fellow soldier Gabriel Reyes, despite that Reyes keeps having strange flickers of memory loss and mood swings. Unbeknownst to him, these are not new side effects to the drugs they are given as a part of the SEP, as he imagines they are. Instead, the truth is that Reaper, from the canon timeline, finds himself suddenly unable to control his powers - sometimes, when he shadow steps, he is flung back into his own past. His continued presence in his old body is changing the relationship he had with Jack Morrison in ways that he is helpless to stop. And he will have to make a choice - should he use his knowledge of the future to help Overwatch, or to destroy it?

Summary
Gabriel hasn’t come with Jack to any summits in just over two years. He stopped complaining about it, stopped pushing. Three… four times a year Jack flies out to Berlin or London or Moscow, then comes back tired down to his bones. Bags under his eyes, shrugging off Gabriel’s concern like it’s nothing, I just need a good night’s sleep.
You know what it’s like, Jack would say, except Gabriel didn’t. Gabriel didn’t know. There’s ice in his veins and smoke in his lungs.
How could he not know?

Summary
It’d been years since he’d been sober.
Sure, no one noticed it, mainly because of his healing and whatever the SEP did to him. But he still drank constantly. Whenever he could, he was smoking. He’d forgotten when he wasn’t drunk or stoned out of his mind, or at least, filling his lungs with a noxious cloud that threatened to choke him every time he breathed it down.Bookmarked by korriyn
