He remembers looking into unfocused chocolate eyes above knife-sharp cheekbones above pouty lips, remembers staring and losing his senses and saying "oh shit" instead of "John" when asked for his name, remembers getting dragged out of the open fire escape and then fingers and then lips and then bliss. Remembers falling instantly and irredeemably in love.
But Alex doesn’t remember.
And, there's a bigger problem. Alex just wants to be friends.
