Summary
Kurt has never fit in. His mother had always told him it was because he was different. Her specific saying to him whenever he had been feeling down was "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" He knows it's true, he's is fabulous after all and everyone knows it. There was nothing wrong with being different, special, unique.
That was what he needed to tell himself to sleep at night. Yet sometimes Kurt felt like he was too different from everyone else, like an alien or a different breed. It's a constant itch in the back of his head that he can't scratch. He can't seem to figure out the answer to a seemingly easy question.
Why can't he just be normal?

Summary
Tweek was put into a foster home when he was 7 years old. His parents were arrested for putting drugs in their coffee (coffee that he drank if he may add). Now he's 16 and has finally been adopted by a family in a small town in Colorado. Great, cold weather, just so he can shiver and twitch even more?
He's not keen on the idea of being thrown into a new family. He still misses his own parents. Even though he knows he shouldn't love them, he does. He's not one to be okay with change. He's not interested in meeting new people, new kids in particular.
South Park is different though. In a town where the strangest things can happen, maybe he'll be okay. Especially since the craziest kids he's ever met can't seem to leave him alone.

Everything fell apart when Stan turned 16. All of a sudden, everything seems like shit. His parents are getting divorced, he's lost his best friends and he's always tired and numb. He doesn't see the point in getting up every day just to be ignored and taunted by the world around him. Soon he has to drink just to get up in the morning.
Now he's able to function with more ease but it's still not the same. Kyle's still wary of him and opts to find company in Cartman of all people and Kenny's too busy with Butters to pay him any attention. He forces a smile on his face and he's able to fool everyone... well almost everyone. Apparently, he's not the only one who has things to hide.
