Summary
A reincarnation AU where Koyuki was so determined to save Akaza from himself that, instead of watching over him as a spirit, she was reborn time and time again. This changed many things. Some for the better, some for the worse, but Akaza was irreparably changed by the time she was reborn as Kyojuro Rengoku.
Akaza watched the person he loved most in the world slip through his fingers over and over again. He was so desperate to keep Kyojuro alive this time that he broke free of Muzan's influence, refusing to lay a single finger on the Hashira. He surrendered himself to the demon slayers.
If he could be of use to them in any way, then he would be. And if they only wanted him dead? Well, he felt like Kyojuro had more than earned the right to take his head after he failed him so many times.

But Akaza would never, ever drag Kyojuro down into this hell with him. He could not tell him that he was Koyuki's next incarnation. He could not tell the Hashira that the people he'd loved and lost were connected in any way at all. As far as they were concerned, Akaza was just a hopeless romantic with terrible luck.
He had to keep his distance. Nothing good ever came out of Akaza being part of his soulmate's life.
