Summary
Remus Lupin is tangled in the webs of crime and it's starting to suffocate him. With a cheap mattress that he doesn't even sleep in and bloodstains that he can't ever wash, violence and money mean less and less every day while he navigates his way through life.
Sirius Black is a tattoo artist that feels alone and empty, having long left his dark past behind with the surname 'Black' smeared on it. It's confusing and dangerous for both of them as their lives tangle together in unpleasant circumstances.

Summary
The war seemed to have muted most of their feelings. There was only anger, and pain, more pain than Sirius thought they could ever take and more fury than he ever thought he was ever capable of feeling. A blinding frustration of seeing all your efforts, not worthing shit. Whatever you did, people still died, and there was absolutely nothing you could do, other than scream at people, and hope that they heard you.
