Summary
Melanie stumbled against Jared’s chest and wrapped our arms around him. For a whole second, Jared did absolutely nothing. He just stood there, as stiff as a corpse, his arms hanging by his side. I felt Melanie’s contentment and joy, and, for a moment, I wondered if our death was worth this. Melanie had manipulated me into coming here, to her family, but somewhere along the way, she had become my friend. I didn’t want her to suffer. I wanted her to be happy. If this moment was everything I could give her, it would have to be enough.

Summary
“Well?” Dudley asks, his voice higher than usual. “Why didn’t you tell me I’m a wizard?”
Harry bites his lips, wishing he could snap at Dudley without making everything worse. Is he too dense to read the room?
Uncle Vernon clears his throat. “You aren’t a... w-wizard, Dudders. They aren’t real. This is just a prank letter.”
“But who-”
“Whoever sent this has a bad sense of humor, and that’s it.”
The chair squeaks as uncle Vernon stands up. Aunt Petunia follows his example, only that she does it utterly noiselessly, the letter pressed to her chest.
“Harry,” aunt Petunia says while she and uncle Vernon walk out of the kitchen and towards the stairs. “Take a few more slices of toast, will you? You look hungry.”
Harry stares after his aunt and uncle, wondering if he is hallucinating.

Summary
Harry starts walking up and down, frantically going through all the ways he could react, all the things he could do, dismissing most of them right away. He glances at his watch more than once, his heart rate increasing every single time.
Ten minutes later, Harry has a plan. It’s very loose and full of holes, but it’s still better than what Dumbledore came up with.
Harry takes a deep breath and glances at his watch one last time. Twenty-seven minutes. Harry has twenty-seven minutes left before Voldemort will realize Harry won’t surrender. It should be enough time for what Harry has in mind, if only barely.
Harry runs to the door and ignores the shouts of the portraits. Dumbledore is the loudest, but Harry ignores him just the same.
Dumbledore is dead. If he needed to tell Harry something, he should have done it when he was alive.

Morty holds his breath when Rick’s lips brush against his ear. “I’ve seen your browsing history, Morty. Compared to that, this is nothing.”
Morty shivers. Rick is so close and warm, and his lips are so soft against his ear…
And then Rick’s words sink in, and he gasps. Instinctively, he jumps back a step and stares at Rick with huge, disbelieving eyes. “What...? Rick! You can’t… You can’t just look at my browsing history!”

Summary
Snape narrows his eyes and gives him a once-over, which makes Harry more uncomfortable than he wants to admit. What is he looking for? Weaknesses? The words on Harry’s hand shouldn’t be visible in the dark, but Harry makes sure to keep the injury turned away from Snape either way.
“Potter,” Snape says when his eyes reach Harry’s face again. “Are you drunk?”
…What?
“No…? I don’t have time to get drunk, sir.”
As soon as the words leave his mouth, Harry already regrets them. But seriously, how can Snape think that he’s getting drunk in the middle of the week, considering everything he’s dealing with?

Summary
"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"
These words still ringing in his ears, Harry wakes up in the Forbidden Forest. Little did he know that he traveled over 50 years into the past.
Now Harry has to deal with a fifteen-year-old Tom Riddle, a suspicious Dumbledore, World War II, and Grindelwald while looking for a way to return to his friends.
Please note: This fic is in need of some heavy editing. Until I find the time to do that, I won't post any new chapters.

Morty is fourteen, damn it! He shouldn’t have to climb into his grandfather’s bed just because he had a stupid nightmare.
