Summary
Gaster's not even really interested in CS-1 or project PERSEVERANCE, he's just working on it because the current Royal Scientist told him to, and the king told the Royal Scientist to look into the option in the first place, so, hey, there's really not many ways he can argue his way out of this one. He'll just wait for the experiment to fall flat on its face so he can get back to the projects he actually wants to work on.
(CS-1 wasn't supposed to have a mind, and Gaster was not supposed to care about him.)

Summary
Dr. W. D. Gaster is the royal scientist, working directly under King Asgore. After the monsters are sealed underground he is presented with new challenges. Food, water, power, all of these things are a far cry from the endless war machines he had designed on the surface. However, Gaster is eager to get back to the surface, to see the stars again. Despite the King's disapproval, the good doctor decides to take matters into his own hands...
Chapters are long and formatting might be weird, but I'm trying to make it readable. This story starts from the very beginning of the monsters being sealed to beyond the true pacifist ending. It explores the idea of a rather rash, asshole scientist creating Sans and Papyrus via cloning and explores their lives together as a rather dysfunctional family from start to finish.
