Summary
After the Jin save him following his massacre of the Chang clan, Xue Yang is upset that Chang Ping escaped his revenge and furious that Xiao Xingchen is still sticking his nose in, trying to get Chang Ping to denounce him. He speculates about how to punish them - but Jin Guangyao forbids him, as the Jin's budding demonic cultivator, to go on any more vengeful rampages.
Instead, Jin Guangyao promises to deal with Chang Ping and Xiao Xingchen on Xue Yang's behalf - and so, before long, Xiao Xingchen finds himself thrown into a Jinlintai prison, accused of Chang Ping's murder...
