    Bookmarker's Notes

I don’t even have to write anything here. This is already my favorite fic of all time, and it’s not even finished yet. I can’t wait until it’s over so I can read the whole thing again and experience those heart-wrenching, all-encompassing emotions once more. This fic made me into a wreck. It broke me and built me back up again, squeezed my heart so tight in my chest that I felt sure it would burst, then slowly let go, repaired the beating organ piece by bleeding piece.

“Finish it out,” he grits between clenched teeth. “Go on. Ask it.”

Nolan shifts in his seat. “Are or are you not attracted, at the very least, to Wilson?”

House knocks his forehead against his cane. “I don’t know. Maybe.”

[In which Nolan pulls at the Wilson thread, and House can't stop it all from unraveling. Repression is a hell of a drug.]

This is my favorite House fic so far. I loved it so, so much. The way House is so oblivious and Wilson finally has to make the first move cuz he’s just so exasperated and tired of waiting. They are so perfect together. They’re literally the definition of meant to be. They understand each other on such a deep level. I love them and I loved this so much. Definitely a re-read. (Also, the sex in chapter 3 is ridiculously hot and detailed.)

Bucky’s been at the Avengers Tower for three weeks before he finally gives in to Steve’s gentle coaxing and Stark’s cheerful waving of fistfuls of circuits, and lets them scan the arm.

    It doesn’t go well.

This fic is so good - honestly, 5 stars. And it’s so well-written that I didn’t think about the writing even once, it just flowed so well. The bit where Bucky is high on Asgardian pain meds and seducing Steve is genuinely so hot. A re-read for sure.

Since everyone thinks they can ask all kinds of intrusive questions about Captain America, it's Bucky's duty to troll the hell out of them.

Bucky is a little shit and it’s hilarious, but he’s also so in love with Steve.

“Heil Hydra,” the enemy agent shouts.

“Heil this, motherfucker,” says Captain America, shooting off a rocket.

Steve and Bucky find out Hollywood has been busy since they went away. A historical survey, including but not limited to: one set of exploded genitals, a brief interlude in France, Mel Gibson and other masterworks of casting, eight Academy awards, several dinosaurs, and something Tony Stark has ominously dubbed “the masterpiece.” Art included.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This is definitely really well done, but it’s not super romantic. It’s mostly film reviews interspersed with Steve and Bucky’s (very brief and horrified) commentary on them. When they actually get together at the end, the getting together part isn’t shown, and their relationship is portrayed through the lens of press coverage. It’s really good, but probably not a re-read because their relationship is not the focus.
