Mike Wheeler has the perfect, small town Indiana life. He’s a sweet(?) boy going into the ninth grade, with a beautiful mom, working dad, annoying little sister, and an even more annoying big sister. Eddie Munson let him into the Hellfire Club, and there hasn’t even been a single demon attacking town in months!
Problem, though: Mike can’t eat. And he really, really misses Will Byers — for some reason, more than he even misses his girlfriend.

Sort of a 6+1 things looking at Mike's experience with an eating disorder and how the various people in his life try to help him. Each chapter will center a different dynamic. Moves from pre-season 4 into early season 5. Each relationship tag will be added as chapters are published.

“No.” Atsushi’s chest stuttered. Byakko was in his lungs, now, all confused and scared. Ryuunosuke? “No, it’s — Byakko — she —” and he couldn’t say it, couldn’t explain it. 'She loves you so much' and 'she wants to eat you' should have been contradictory thoughts.
But Ryuunosuke said: “She wants to eat me?”
Atsushi said nothing. Just stood there, hunching, back to the wall, hugging himself like a child. Ryuunosuke was flushing red from navel to neck, and the ladder of his ribs kept expanding and contracting in a slow, careful, conscious way — he was scared, maybe. Of Atsushi? As if Ryuunosuke couldn’t, if he wanted to, impale Atsushi into the wall right now.
“Yes,” Atsushi said, his claws digging into his sides.

or: Hopper and Mike are an underrated duo, Mike needs to be Vecna'd in season 5 (and I say this out of love), and I truly believe Will and El's voices together are the only thing that could pull Mike out of Vecna's grasp.

“No!” Dazai screeched, so shrilly Ranpo felt it in his teeth. Dazai, star pupil of their class and Academy’s resident heart-throb mystery boy, flailed his arms and legs in the air like a toddler. “ No, not him! ”
Ranpo grinned ear to ear. This was Christmas. “Why, Dazai?” Ranpo leaned forward in his seat. Even though he was a good few feet away, Dazai still sank backwards behind the couch like he was scared of Ranpo. Which, he was never actually scared of Ranpo, but it still gave Ranpo a bit of a power trip. “Scared you’ll like him too much?”
Yes, Nakahara Chuuya was weirdly obsessed with Dazai Osamu. Supposedly, he hated him. But Dazai’s obsession with Nakahara was even stranger – because Nakahara was the only person in the world Dazai was tight-lipped around. He never bothered him, never asked about him, hardly even spoke to him despite the fact that they were near always in forced proximity by way of shared friends. But he was always, always, looking at Nakahara. Ranpo and Yosano were maybe the only ones who’d noticed that.
Dazai collapsed to the ground and wailed once again.

“My people would write ballads about you,” he says, half a tease and half in awe, “my golden alchemist… they’d dance to your name in the streets.” He smiles slyly against Ed’s skin. It’s overly cheesy but he likes the way it makes Ed’s skin heat with embarrassment.
Ed yanks at a piece of Ling’s hair, which unlike his is still in its ponytail. “Stop it,” he huffs, “You’re ridiculous.”
Ling starts to move him, swaying him left and right, careful not to drift too towards the river. “Come to Xing with me.” He’s glad his face is buried in Ed’s shoulder so he doesn’t have to look him in the eyes when he says it. Ed would see his fear, then.
