    “If you… can satisfy me in five minutes,” huffs out the depraved man behind the golden mask, gripping his scalp, “I’ll change your life!”

    Hwang Jun-Ho shivers at the vile warmth spreading from the fingertips flushed with alcohol and lust. Out of his line of sight, he sneaks his hand into his pocket.

    Nothing. His gun is not with him. The laughter from the audience outside and the muffled screams the cameras have picked up rings in his ears. He swallows hard, forcing a plan to surface from the panic. His legs twitch into another position, but something hard presses against his temple, freezing his movements. “And if you fail to do that,” the beast breathes, “then I’ll end it.”

    He faltered.
