Summary
After the war, with everything spiraling to hell, Harry is tasked by his mind healer to write letters whenever he's feeling like shit and store them in a box. What he does not expect is to receive any input from the Draco Malfoy himself.
That might be good for him, or it might as well make everything so much bloody worse.
Or, a series of letters in which Harry pours his soul out to the man he used to hate and accidentally ends up falling in love in the process.

AU where Neil's mother never took him and he joined the Moriyamas at a young age. Nathaniel Wesninski is a famed Exy player, and known for being teamed up with Jean, Kevin, and Riko at all times. In this AU, the Ravens meet the Foxes, and most of this story takes place a little bit before The Foxhole Court would've. Nathan is still alive, and Neil is still looking over his shoulder and trying to find a way out- but he was raised differently this time around. He still has trauma, but it's all a very different kind. This is book one, the other two will line up more time-wise with AFTG, but the story won't. (Yes, the Perfect Court will play together again.)

Katelyn looked at him. Her eyes were wet, fear finally leaking through the cracks in her composure. "You stepped in front of a knife."
"I had to."
"You didn't have to," she said. Her voice broke. "You really didn't."
"He was aiming for you."
"I know." She wiped her face with her free hand, smearing a streak of blood across her cheek. "I know, Neil."
Neil Josten has always treated Katelyn like background noise. She's a liability attached to Aaron Minyard that needs to be managed. But when a ghost from Baltimore interrupts his morning run, Neil realizes that his calculations were wrong.

Summary
According to the team, Andrew is currently losing a custody battle for Neil against a sport invented by the mafia.
It’s a running joke in the locker room: Neil cares about Exy, and then, distant second, he cares about breathing. Andrew is somewhere on the list, probably below the new backliner spread Kevin found.
Andrew doesn't bother correcting them. He knows the difference between a distraction and a destination. He knows Neil runs until his lungs burn to keep the ghosts quiet, but he also knows exactly whose bed Neil crawls into when the adrenaline fades.
(Or: 5 times the team thought Neil loved the sport more than the goalkeeper, and one time Neil made the hierarchy terrifyingly clear.)
